Buffy est arrivee au repere de Sweet et se met a chanter et danser. Ses amis arrivent a leur tour et elle leur revele qu'elle etait au paradis et qu'elle vit un veritable enfer. Elle supplie Sweet de lui donner quelque chose qui lui donne envie de vivre mais lorsqu'il refuse elle se met a danser menacant de se consumer mais Spike l'arrete. Il lui chante que la vie n'est pas facile et que la seule maniere de s'en sortir c'est de vivre.

Spike s'en va mais Buffy l'a suivi et le retient. Elle recommence a chanter que le feu lui-meme ne la touche plus tandis que Spike chante qu'il l'aime et ils finissent par s'embrasser alors que les autres se demandent toujours ce qu'ils vont faire.
